Limestone Township Library District Announces
Winner of Love Your Library Contest
In February, we asked the community to draw
pictures about what they loved about the library. And we received seven
wonderful drawings from the younger members of our community. People were able
to vote on their favorite picture through the end of March. And now we can
announce the winners of the People’s Choice awards.
In the age group 5-10, Kamryn Arends won with her
depiction of Lucky the library dog in a suit and tie.
In the age group 11-14, Natalie Davis won with
her Anime picture of a girl reading a book. Natalie also garnered the most votes
of all contestants.
In the age group 15-18, Carter Bell won for his
depiction of the gazebo area in the library.
Alena Hanson, Chase Winkels, Hudson Bell, and
Nora Bell received Staff Choice for their entries.
We thank everyone who participated either by
entering a picture or taking the time to vote. All of the entries can be seen
on our website on the Photo page.
