Giving Opportunities at Limestone Township Library District
As
the holiday season approaches, so does colder weather. Not everyone is
fortunate enough to have what they need to stay warm while outside.
This
is also the season of giving. And there are many opportunities for people to
give. At Limestone Township Library District, you have the ability to fill the
donation box for winter coats in our lobby from the Herscher High School
National Honor Society. All sizes are being accepted. The public can bring in
winter coat donations from now until Friday, December 6.
Another
way that you can give is by filling up the Limestone Township Library
District’s Mitten Tree. Every year we place a tree in our lobby to be covered
with mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves to help keep away the cold weather
chills. Bring your donations to the Front Desk. All donations from the Mitten
Tree will be given to the Herscher School District after December 31.
If
you have any questions or concerns, please contact the library at 815-939-1696.

will have two sessions (5:30 and 6:45) available to make visiting with Santa
that much easier. All registration will be In-Person only (no registrations by
phone, or messaging through email or Facebook/Instagram accepted). Registration
will only pertain to your household.
