Get Scrapbooking at Limestone Township Library District
Do you have a scrapbooking project that you want to work on
but never find the time? Find the time by registering for our Scrapbooking/Junk
Journal class on Friday, March 21 from 11:00 A.M. till 12:30 P.M.
You can bring in your photos that need to go on pages along
with your own scrapbook. We will have on hand various scrapbooking paper,
cutouts, and ribbon that you can use to make your pictures stand out and become
treasured memories. Supplies such as glue and shaped scissors are provided.
There is no fee for this program
Registration is required, you can stop in at the library or
call us at 815-939-1696 to register for this fun and creative program.

We invite yarn crafters to our
Crochet and Knitting Club on Thursday, March 13, 6:00 P.M. till 7:30 P.M. This
is a time to bring in your current project and work with others, share your
knowledge, and ask questions about a technique someone else is using in their
project.
Join us for our next Coffee and Friends program on Friday,
March 14 at 10:30 A.M. when Jorie Walters of the Kankakee County Museum
presents “Al Capone in Kankakee County.” Walters is the Research Coordinator at
the Museum. Registration is required
Stop
in the library on Friday, March 14 for our latest take and make craft. Pick up
a kit to make a Shamrock Man that you can work on at a time best for you and
your family. Supplies are limited, pick yours up before they are all gone.
Celebrate the Luck of the Irish on
Monday, March 17 when the library hosts a St. Patrick’s Scavenger Hunt and
Craft time. From 5:00 till 6:00 P.M. kids in grade school can look for clues
from our local leprechaun.
Join us for a magical storytime on Tuesday, March 18 at
6:30 P.M. Heather will read a story that will be followed by a fun and
creative craft activity! Let your imagination soar as you listen to enchanting
tales and then bring them to life with your own masterpiece. You can even come
in your pajamas.
Join us for a fun and creative Youth Craft Night on Monday,
March 24th, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, where we'll be making beautiful paper flowers
to create a colorful garden! Whether you're a crafting pro or a beginner, this
event is perfect for everyone. Come unleash your creativity, and take home your
unique floral creations! Don't forget to bring a friend!
Join us for Writer’s Group on Monday, March 24 at 6:30 P.M. A
writer's group is a community of writers who come together to share their work,
provide feedback, and support each other in their writing endeavors. It can be
a great way to improve your writing skills, get inspiration, and connect with
other writers.
Join us for Pre K Craft Night on Tuesday, March 25th, from
3-4 pm, where we'll be making fun and colorful painted ladybugs! This engaging
activity is perfect for young children to explore their creativity while having
a great time. Don't forget to bring your little ones and enjoy some quality
crafting together!
The Friends of the Library will be meeting on Tuesday, March
25 at 6:30 P.M. in the meeting room. The Friends will be discussing various
ways they can help the library through volunteering and fundraising. Visitors
are welcomed. Ask about how you can join!
