Giving Opportunities at Limestone Township Library District

Giving Opportunities at Limestone Township Library District

As the holiday season approaches, so does colder weather. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have what they need to stay warm while outside.

This is also the season of giving. And there are many opportunities for people to give. At Limestone Township Library District, you have the ability to fill the donation box for winter coats in our lobby from the Herscher High School National Honor Society. All sizes are being accepted. The public can bring in winter coat donations from now until Friday, December 6.

Another way that you can give is by filling up the Limestone Township Library District’s Mitten Tree. Every year we place a tree in our lobby to be covered with mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves to help keep away the cold weather chills. Bring your donations to the Front Desk. All donations from the Mitten Tree will be given to the Herscher School District after December 31.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the library at 815-939-1696.

Check out our upcoming programing.

Limestone Township Library District is Here for the Community

There are some tasks that need extra help. Papers need to be faxed to an office, items to be scanned to your email, or copies of family memories need to be made.

Limestone Township Library District (LTLD) has done all of this for the public.

That doesn’t mean we no longer have books or movies or kits or games. There are plenty to choose from and new items are brought to the shelves every week. In case you cannot find what you are looking for, it is possible to put an item on hold from 140+ libraries within our consortium.

LTLD is here to help you whether it is to fax important papers, take a class, or find a quiet place to sit and read.
