Pallet Painting to be held at Limestone Township Library District
The Friends of the Library are
hosting a Pallet Painting class, led by Libby Wasser, on Saturday, November 18
from 12:30 P.M. till 2:30 P.M.
The 3D design is a fitting message
for the Christmas holiday season with wooden elements of a wreath and stars on
pallet boards that can be hung up once the project is completed.
The cost for the program is $30.00
to be paid at registration. All supplies for completing this project are
provided. There is a limit of fourteen participants.
This program is a fundraiser for the
Friends of the Library. The Friends support and advocate for the
patrons and staff of the Limestone Township Library District by contributing to
library programming, fundraising and enhancing the appearance of our library
and community in the spirit of friendship.

Storytime takes place every
Wednesday at 10:15 A.M., with Mr. William reading a picture book or two and
leading us through a fun craft matching the theme of the book.
We are having an
Author Visit with SciFi author Bill McCormick, aka Mr. McSciFi, on Wednesday,
November 8 at 6:30 P.M. McCormick is a critically acclaimed and award winning
author. He began writing professionally in 1986 when he worked for Chicago
Rocker. He went on to write for several other magazines and later transitioned
to blogs. Bill has expanded his repertoire to include comic books, graphic
novels, and full length novels. Please register ahead of time for this
fascinating evening with author Bill McCormick.
Come for fun on Thursday, November 9
from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. for our Family Video Game Party. We will have on
hand both Super Smash Bothers Ultimate, Mario Kart, as well as Guitar Hero.
Feel free to bring your own Nintendo Switch and joycons! Snacks will be
provided.
Please be aware that the Library
will be closed on Saturday, November 11 in observance of Veterans’ Day. We will
re-open on Monday, November 13 at 10:00 A.M.
Adult Book Club meets on Tuesday,
November 14 at 6:30 P.M. This month we are
reading South to America by Imani Perry. Copies of the book are available at the Front
Desk.

on the World Wide Web? Come in during Drop-in Tech Help day from 10:00 A.M. –
12:00 noon on Friday, November 17. When you
arrive at the session, be sure to bring your device and any relevant passwords
or login information you might need. The experts will help you troubleshoot and
diagnose the issue, and work with you to find a solution.
Have an Adult Craft Night Out at our Adult Craft Night which takes place on Monday, November 20 at 6:30 P.M. when
we create Christmas Gnomes. Space
is limited so please register for this program. All supplies are
provided, there is no fee for this program.
