Limestone
Township Library District Hosts Take Your Child to the Library Day
On Saturday, February 7, thousands of libraries across North America celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day by offering free, fun, and fabulous activities for families.
Limestone
Township Library District is joining the celebration by having a number of
activities to celebrate our library and all it has to offer. Use our Legos
during the Lego Free Build to create something out of your wildest imagination.
Take
part in a scavenger hunt, find a cute coloring page, do a fun craft, and join
story time in the gazebo at 1:00 PM. While you’re here, check out all the great
things the library has to offer families, such as games, story bags, movies,
and books!
If
you’re looking for something special, ask a staff member to help you. If we don’t
have it, we can always try to order it from another library.
You
can also check out our Countdown to Spring Reading Challenge. On the Reading Challenge
bookmark, you will find eleven different book suggestions. Read any five of
these from February 1 through March 20 and you can be entered into a drawing
for a raffle basket. The Reading Challenge is open to all ages.
Take
Your Child to the Library Day is the perfect time to discover some library
magic at Limestone Township Library District.
