Find Fun at Limestone Township Library District

It’s summertime. And there are so many things to do!

Start off by coming to the library for our fun programs.

On Thursday, May 29 there will be a Youth crafting session for kids aged 7-12 as we create fairy windmills.  Don't miss out on this opportunity to unleash your creativity and make something special.

Adults can have fun as well at the Poet’s Cup on Friday, May 30 starting at 10:30. Listen to some jazz and hear poetry read out loud while sipping on some coffee. It's a perfect opportunity to indulge in the soothing atmosphere of creativity and connection.

Join us for a rejuvenating session of Yoga with Colleen on Thursday, June 5 at 6:00 P.M.! Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting your journey, this class is the perfect way to unwind, stretch, and connect with your inner self.

While you’re at the library check out our books. Don’t have a card? That can be easily remedied with a current driver’s license and a current copy of a utility bill. Any questions you might have can be answered by staff in the library or by phone at 815-939-1696.

Check out more of our upcoming programing. Sign up for these programs by stopping in at the library, emailing Heather at hkeene@limestonelibrary.org or calling the front desk at 815-939-1696.

Join us for our Adult Book Club on Tuesday, June 10 at 6:30 PM, where we will delve into "The Heaven and Earth Grocery Store" by James McBride. Bring your thoughts and insights as we explore the themes, characters, and narrative of this captivating novel. Copies available at the front desk.

Calling all yarn enthusiasts to our Crochet and Knitting Club on Thursday, June 12 at 6 PM! Bring your yarn and projects, whether you're a beginner or an experienced crafter, to enjoy an evening of creativity and community. We look forward to seeing you there!

Join us for a fun Junk Journal Scrapbook group on Friday, June 13, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM! Bring your projects, and feel free to share any supplies you’d like; some materials will also be available for use. We look forward to crafting together! This program is for Young Adults and Adults.

Summer Reading begins on Saturday, June 14 with a Kick-Off Party. But you can register for summer reading starting on Monday, May 19. To participate in all the Summer Reading programs, including raffle basket tickets, you must be registered for Summer Reading.
