Summer
Reading is at Limestone Township Library District
Perhaps
you have heard us talking about “Summer Reading: Where Wild Wonders Await!” at
the library. Perhaps you think it’s too late to sign up for the program or that
you are too old to sign up.
Well,
it’s not too late to sign up for summer reading and no one is too old for
summer reading.
All
you have to do is fill out a simple form that can be found at the library or on
our website. Once you turn it in to the library, you will receive a folder with
fun paper activities, a calendar of events for June and July, and log sheets to
keep track of your reading.
For
every twenty minutes that you read, you fill in a fish on the log sheet. For
every fish that you color in, you receive a ticket for the raffle prize
baskets.
We
have 14 raffle prize baskets, ranging from pre-k to adults and family baskets.
You can put your tickets in any ticket bucket of your choosing.
And
if you read 300 minutes, you can qualify to attend the Summer Reading Finale
program in July.
You
do not need a library card to participate. But having one gives you access to
all the library’s physical materials and E-resources.
We look forward to seeing you all summer long.
Check out more of our upcoming programing. Sign up for these
programs by stopping in at the library, emailing Heather at
hkeene@limestonelibrary.org or calling the front desk at 815-939-1696.
