Limestone Township Library District Presents Summer Reading
At Limestone Township Library District, we are planning an excitement filled summer with our reading program called ‘Where the Adventure Begins’ with Lucky the Library Dragon.
Because of that, we will not have any programs until June 8 since there is much to get ready. But the library still has much to offer.
It is possible for patrons and community members to come in to check out
materials, use the public access computers, make copies, and send off faxes or scan
documents to email. Our die-cut center is open for use as well as our cold
laminator machine. Copies, faxes, and the laminator machine have fees
associated with their use.
Registration for Summer Reading began Monday, May 20 and community
members can register through June 20. Registration must be done in person. At
that time, participants will receive an information packet that includes a
reading log, program calendar for June and July, and information regarding ‘About
The Realm’ activities.
When you register, make sure to sign up for our Kick-off Movie Day on
Saturday, June 8, starting at 12:00 noon. We plan to have popcorn and drinks
along with fun crafts to go with our movie –Lightyear.
For more information, call the Library at
815-939-1696.
Check out our program
calendar when you stop in.
The library will be closed Monday,
May 27 in observance of Memorial Day. We will re-open on Tuesday, May 28 at
10:00 A.M.
