Lucky the Library Dragon Visits Limestone Township Library District

Lucky the Library Dragon Visits Limestone Township Library District

It is not often that a dragon comes to visit a library. Some of us would even say it could be tricky considering the fire-breathing aspect.

On Saturday, June 15 at 12:30 P.M., Lucky the Library Dragon is coming in to do a story time session and will listen to each child read a story to our resident dragon. There will be crafts and sensory activities to do while waiting for each child’s turn to read to Lucky. Open to all ages.

When you register, make sure to sign up for any program that fits your child or yourself. We plan to have a busy summer making crafts, visiting with people, exploring nature, and having a Medieval Faire on June 22.

For more information or to register for one of our programs, call the library at 815-939-1696.

Here are some of our upcoming programs. Please register ahead of time so we can have enough supplies for everyone:

Story Time starts on June 12 at 10:15 A.M. with LTFPD Fire Chief Ryan Bell as he reads a favorite story. Craft time will follow. This program is for preschoolers and kindergartners and their family members.
