Container Garden Presentation
at Limestone Township Library District
Maybe you have always wanted to try container
gardening but never felt comfortable enough to do it. Come to Limestone
Township Library District on Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30 P.M. to hear Holly
Froning speak on creating a container garden in your own back yard.
Froning is the Master Gardener and Master
Naturalist Coordinator at the University of Illinois Extension Office, serving
in this role for many years. She will explain the different types of
containers, soil mediums, and plants that can work for container gardening. Then
you can take that knowledge to work at creating your own container garden.
To attend the program, community members must
register for the program. You don’t have to be a patron to attend the program.
But as long as you are in the building, check with the Front Desk staff to see
about getting a library card.
