Limestone
Township Library District is Taking a Hike
As the leaves start changing in this
fall season, it fun to discover what is going on in the natural world around
us.
The library is taking a hike at the Kankakee River State Park on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 noon to do just that! We will start our time with a presentation from Meghan Tharp, CER, about the life cycle of plants and what to look for in the fall before taking a hike through the park.
Participants need to sign up for the
program at the library ahead of time. We will meet at the Visitor’s Center at
Kankakee River State Park on Saturday, September 27.
To register for this program, call the library at 815-969-1696 or message us on Facebook/Instagram.
