Limestone
Township Library District Hosting Genealogy Program
Have
you ever wondered about your family history? Would you like to know where to
start to find information about your ancestors?
Join
us on Tuesday, September 16, at 6:30 P.M. for “Starting Your Family Search”
with Lee Hollenbeck of the Kankakee Chapter of the Daughters of the American
Revolution (DAR). Hollenbeck is the Kankakee DAR chairman of the Volunteer
Genealogist Committee and chair of the Lineage Research committee. It is her
job within our local chapter to help people prove their claim to a
Revolutionary War Patriot.
In
this presentation, Hollenbeck will explain the information needed and give us
the tools to start your search for your family tree. Every story is different, but
they are exciting to the ones searching for answers.
