Limestone Township Library District is Finding Adventure This Summer

Limestone Township Library District is Finding Adventure This Summer

We are having a great time during this year’s Summer Reading Program at Limestone Township Library!

So far we have over 270 community members signing up to read for the summer. And they have read over 50,000 minutes by the second week. Our goal is to read 120,000 minutes during the five weeks of summer reading and we are going to get there.

We are filling our weeks with plenty of activities. There is never a moment that you cannot find something of interest.

Reg Green is our Storytime Community Helper, reading books on dogs who have been rescued, on Wednesday, June 26 at 10:15 A.M. Craft time will follow. This program is for preschoolers and kindergartners and their family members.

Teens are invited to attend a Faerie Garden work shop on Thursday, June 27 at 6:30 P.M. Using a shallow pan or your own broken Terracotta pot, some succulents, and a few decorative pieces, we will create individual faerie gardens. There is no fee for this program, all supplies are included.

Drop in for a time of sipping coffee and visiting with others when we host Coffee and Friends on Friday, June 28 from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 Noon. You can read a paper, work on a jigsaw puzzle, or just talk with a friend while enjoying some coffee and a sweet roll. Please register so we can make sure to have enough for everyone.
